Tony Blair served as prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 1997 to 2007, the only Labour leader in the party’s 100-year history to win three consecutive general elections. During his time in office, the UK economy enjoyed record growth. His government made major improvements in Britain’s public services, particularly healthcare and education, through a programme of investment and reform. Dr Daniel Susskind is a Fellow in Economics at Oxford University, a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Ethics in AI at Oxford University, and a Visiting Professor at King’s College London. He is the co-author of the best-selling book, The Future of the Professions (2015) and the author of A World Without Work (2020), described by The New York Times as "required reading for any potential presidential candidate thinking about the economy of the future”. Nick Srnicek is a Lecturer in Digital Economy at King’s College London whose writing focuses on the future of work and technology. Daniel Waldenström is Professor of Economics at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics in Stockholm and previously Professor at Uppsala University and Visiting Professor at the Paris School of Economics and Sorbonne Université. He gained his Ph.D. in economics at the Stockholm School of Economics and also holds a second doctorate degree in economic history at Lund University where he is currently Associate Professor. Waldenström’s research focuses on economic policy, income and wealth distribution and taxation, and has appeared in leading scientific journals and several books at international publishing houses. Guy Standing is a labour economist and Professorial Research Associate at SOAS University of London. He previously held chairs at SOAS and the universities of Bath (UK) and Monash (Australia). SUNG Tae-yoon is a leading Korean economist in the areas of financial economics, international economics, and macroeconomics. He received his Ph.D in economics in 2002 at Harvard University after his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics at Yonsei University. He is a Professor of Economics in the School of Economics at Yonsei University. He worked as a Fellow at the Korea Development Institute and as a professor at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He was the Vice President of the Korea Money and Finance Association, and Vice President of the Korea International Finance Association. He received various academic awards including the ‘CheongRam’ Award from the Korean Economic Association that is given to an academic scholar in economics under the age of 45 with the most outstanding academic research record in Korea. He served as the Dean of Underwood International College and is serving as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Yonsei University.
